XING YI QUAN: TECHNIQUES

AND APPLICATIONS

Short Film | 4minutes

Director, Co-Writer/Producer, Editor

A showcase by martial arts instructor Sifu Keith Min of  Xing Yi Quan: one of the three primary "internal" styles of Chinese Kung Fu.

Keith visited New York City from Chicago to make this film with us. The film was shot over two days and features stunt performances from many of our old friends in the martial arts film community, who travelled between New York, Connecticut, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania to come and work with us.

We utilized the high frame rate shooting capability of the Sony FS-700 to capture the individual techniques and applications of Keith's unique fighting style in super slow motion in a modern homage to Hong Kong martial arts pictures of the 70s.

Keith is a member of the Chicago based LBP stunts organization.
